We've been waiting for snow all winter and we finally got it dumped on us within a two-hour window the other night. It took us three hours to make it home from Oakhurst which is normally a 20 minute drive. There were vehicles stuck along side the road all the way home. . . nearly 30 of them sliding out of control. Traffic was stopped for a couple hours, while some of the vehicles were being moved so we could pass. Luckily we were right behind the snow plow so that when traffic was able to move, we had it made. Thank goodness for four-wheel-drive!
