Yesterday's display of the white fluffy stuff tumbling down from the heavens was NOTHING compared to today. When we got up this morning it was an amazing sight to be seen . . . so much snow had fallen during the night. We'd no sooner venture out to get some pictures and come back in to warm up —proud as peacocks of the shots we got. Five minutes later, we'd look outside and exclaim "Wow—look at it NOW!" and have to grab the camera to try to capture the big flakes floating down right in front of our own eyes. Now I'm sure certain members of our midwestern family are cracking up at our excitement of our snow storm and our thirty-something weather . . . but we're having a blast enjoying the snow from inside our very cozy abode! Hope you can enjoy the pictures and get a feeling of our excitement.
Life is Good!

Here's K venturing out to plug the cell phone into the truck . . . we had lost power for nearly 18 hours!

Now here is my very favorite bird house— the precious one that grandsons R and T made me for Mother's Day a couple of years ago. It seems to be lovin' the snow . . . maybe because the artists live in snow country this time of year!
