Yesterday's display of the white fluffy stuff tumbling down from the heavens was NOTHING compared to today. When we got up this morning it was an amazing sight to be seen . . . so much snow had fallen during the night. We'd no sooner venture out to get some pictures and come back in to warm up —proud as peacocks of the shots we got. Five minutes later, we'd look outside and exclaim "Wow—look at it NOW!" and have to grab the camera to try to capture the big flakes floating down right in front of our own eyes. Now I'm sure certain members of our midwestern family are cracking up at our excitement of our snow storm and our thirty-something weather . . . but we're having a blast enjoying the snow from inside our very cozy abode! Hope you can enjoy the pictures and get a feeling of our excitement.
Life is Good!

Here's K venturing out to plug the cell phone into the truck . . . we had lost power for nearly 18 hours!

Now here is my very favorite bird house— the precious one that grandsons R and T made me for Mother's Day a couple of years ago. It seems to be lovin' the snow . . . maybe because the artists live in snow country this time of year!

I love all the snow you got!! And you had fun taking pics! We miss it after living in central oregon for 2 years.
What great pictures, maa! You HAVE got snow. It's fun, for awhile! The funny thing is, while it's snowing in your neck of the woods, it was 60 degrees here!! I have tulips coming up right and left -- we're praying that they survive the cold front that is supposed to hit us next week.
Beautiful pics J. How fun to have so much snow. Being without power for 18 hours must have been exciting as well as the snow! It's good we didn't come up this weekend! We're thinking about this Tuesday maybe, if the weather allows.
Grammy - You are right, sometimes we do get snow a lot. Thank you for making us feel good about the bird feeder. And, you're right, it doesn't usually snow there, but maybe sometime we'll come and visit. If it snows, we'll give advice. Love, R
I'm sure you could give us great advice about how to survive in the snow, R! We'd love you to come out to sunny California . . . today was beautiful and sunny! Go figure! I'm glad you got to see the pictures of our snow before it melted.
Maaaa, it's time for a new post. I bet your snow is all gone now!
We like snow too..
