We finally just turned it off and went to bed and thought nothing of it until we were just about to fall asleep and . . . low and behold . . . we heard noise and noticed light from the living room. This time the television went on all by itself! So Ken got up and had to unplug it from the wall so we could get a good night's sleep.
That was two nights ago. Tonight was a little different story. Tonight, for the first hour the same thing happened . . . DVD tray in . . . out . . . in . . . out. We ignored it. Then the mute button on the remote wouldn't work. About twenty minutes later the television wouldn't let us change the channel with the remote or even manually. . . AND the volume goes down to zero all on its own! At the end of the evening, not one of the buttons on the front of the television would function!
Must be time for a new one—after all the Super Bowl is coming up!
Life is good!

A TV and Dvd player with a mind all it's own! Too weird!!
I just had to comment. This post cracks me up every morning. That really is too funny. I've never heard of a television doing such a thing. Thanks for the morning laugh! I just read it outloud to JD because he hasn't seen it yet.. so we both got a good laugh.
