The morning was bright and sunny and it's expected to get in the high 90s today. However there was still work to be done and Ken wanted to lend a hand. At the end of just a few hours the team accomplished what they set out to do and it really looks nice.
What a trouper. KL unloaded the truckload of bark.
And then hauled it over to be spread out . . .
With Murray's supervision Ken and Jen spread the bark.
Good job Jen and Ken and Karah. It will be so pretty when finished and you all will feel so great when you sit back and enjoy it. Especially when those plants go in.
My husband and I retired in 1999 and enjoyed a full-time RV lifestyle for over 12 years and loved everything about it! We now live in a "stick house" in the country and look forward to the next chapter of our life together . . . enjoy a garden, fresh eggs from our own hens, and living close to family.
We have two daughters we are very proud of—each one has a great husband and between them, and the good Lord, have given us five awesome grandkids! This blog happens so our friends and family can keep up with what we enjoy doing most.
