The first night we provided dinner.
Last night we were all too full from a late lunch while on a field trip hunting for bargain wood. Tonight was Gary's turn . . . filling in for his wife. And he did a fine job. He stopped off on his way home from errands in town and picked up fixin's for grilled brats with bell pepper and onions (which he cooked in a hand-made-from-foil container on the grill).
We provided corn on the cob given to us by our neighbor, and a various assortment of yummy string beans we picked this afternoon from the hoop house. Oh, to top it all off, yours truly made a nice apple crisp made from apples picked over at our cute little church on Sunday.
We all miss Cecile, but we're not going hungry, that's for sure! We're even looking forward to her bringing back fresh Maine lobster!
Life is good!

Yummo!! That looks delicious. Did you have any ice cold beer to go with it? I bet you all miss Cecile. Is she really bringing back Maine lobster or having it shipped. That will be yummy. Great pics too!
