The Thompsons rolled out this morning for their volunteer job at the Ford House in Mendocino. But we had a great day with them yesterday. After a busy weekend with Stagecoach Days the four of us got together to just kick back, relax and have fun. We played Pegs and Jokers (it was apparently the girls turn to win—four games to the guys' one) and enjoyed a barbecue for dinner. Then we watched the sun go down and sipped on fruity rum drinks dreaming about our future cruising adventures together—providing we sell lots of Pegs and Jokers games. We'll spend a week with them in Mendo on our way to Oregon in June. Then they'll join us at Camp Cascadia in August and we'll all be busy cranking out lots of game boards. We've just about sold out last summer's boards (only three sets left) so this summer we plan to triple the number of boards we produced last year. They are such good friends. We look forward to our many good times together!
Life is good—especially with friends like the Thompsons!

I'm glad you had a nice day playing for your friends. We missed you but were able to catch up a little around here. A little behind with the crazy baseball schedule!
How nice to have a day to relax and just kick back with your good friends. (And drink fruity rum drinks, of which I would like to know more about!)
Hard to believe you plan on tripling the number of games to crank out this summer. I remember last year's blog and it seemed pretty overwhelming then!
You might need us to come and help. I'll make the fruity rum drinks, ha ha ha!
Such good friends-all of you! We made it to Mendo and are all settled in...This week is the beginning of Heritage Days-more on that later!
